Gaza and the West Bank are undergoing an important transformation as the Israeli army pulls its forces from territories which have been under its occupation for the last 37 years. It's coming together. I still have a few cosmetic kinks to work out, but I've managed to make the transition while preserving the integrity of the original design. The dog days of summer are here and I am splitting my time between Yardley and elsewhere. I want to make this front page XML-based so that it's easier for me to update. Once that happens, updates will come much more frequently.

One month has come and gone and some minor improvements have been made. I tweaked the CSS for cross-platform consistency (let me know if something looks out of whack), I made some minor cosmetic changes to the index page, I shuffled things around in the Desktops and Snapshots sections, and I added some renderings to the Creations section. I had hoped to publish one more section but I could not since a lot of my work is stored on my box in Yardley. I have a few really good projects in the pipeline though, so check back. Until then, I bid you adieu.


On the 19th of April I'll be going off to Prague, Krakow, Poznan, and Inowroclaw for a couple of weeks, so the content on this site will stay static for a while. I will, however, have access to email, so feel free to drop me a line.

It started out with a conversation about a hilarious urban-marketing blitz (check out: nabil! let me play) featuring two lanky runners with fantastic mustaches advertising a telephone information service. Then came the information about a NikeTown-sponsored mini marathon on Tuesday. The idea surfaced, and Dion and I embraced it. So we bought some 'staches, some red gaffer tape, printed out some running bibs, and the result was awesome. Not only did we run in true high-knee form throughout the Tube and across the streets of London to cheers of support, but we managed to get in trouble by Nike corporate because they thought we worked for double-118 and were hijacking their event. Anyhow, the rest is history, but check out the post-run photoshoot in the snapshots section.


One of the coolest things I've done thus far in London is attend the peace demonstrations, both of which were among the largest demonstrations in history. It's really refreshing to be in a country where there is a (somewhat) intelligent public discourse. On television, in print, and on the streets, you see a much more engaged, much better articulated debate than you would in the States. The bane of my existence are American shows like Crossfire on which each guest is given about a minute to voice their opinion, usually over a barrage of interjections and insults from the other guests, with little opportunity for a response. As a result, this dumbs down the debate, and a complicated question like, "hey, what are the implications of a war in Iraq?" never truly gets answered. In England they seem to care much more about hearing each other out and, as one of my professors told me, "unlike in America, the English genuinely appreciate a nonconformist point of view." Anyhow, for now, if you'd like to get an idea of what it's like to protest through central London in the company of about a million people, navigate to the "snapshots" subdirectory and have yourself a gander.


Between finishing my coursework, taking exams, drinking guinness, and eating kebabs, I've managed to churn out a website. The purpose of creating this website is for people like yourself to see some of my design work, read some of my rants, and browse through articles and other media I find interesting enough to post. I hope to update this site rather frequently, especially now that I'm abroad and a good majority of my friends are not around for me to talk/show stuff to. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the site.
