I ventured out of the womb and into existence on March 18th, 1982, in a hospital located in Tunis, Tunisia. I was the byproduct of Magdalena and Bechir Laoudji, two star-crossed lovers who met each other while the latter was studying in the former's homeland, the then-soviet republic of Poland. At the age of six, I packed my things and flew from my sun-soaked afro-mediterranean homeland to a place that hasn't seen the sun since the industrial revolution -- New Jersey. New Jersey and neighboring Pennsylvania have been the place of my permanent residence since coming to America, though recently I've been spending much of the year studying in Colonial Williamsburg. I'm graduating in May of 2004 from the College of William and Mary as a Finance and International Relations double-major. I'm interested in pursuing a career in civil rights, broadcast journalism, financial consulting, international business, entrepreneurship, development economics, and/or foreign service. If I'm able to do just one of those, and do it well, I'll be pretty happy. If I chance upon an opportunity that involves all of those, I'll be very happy. If you'd like to get a better handle on who I am, please venture over to the other subsections of this website and check out some of my creations, writings, and so on. Contact me with any of your comments, questions, or suggestions by sending an email to nabil@laoudji.com. If you want an email address @laoudji.com, I can set that up too. Enjoy!
